Up early to feed the dog and chickens before we set off for our walk with the Brisbane Bush walking club. There were 11 of us walking through Mt Coo-tha for the morning. Tony and Christine lead the way through the many tracks in the area, briefing us on different aspects of the park. We had morning tea at a little used but lovely picnic area, followed by rock scrambling for those of us who wanted a challenge. We returned to the car before lunch.
Clubs can be a great way to explore an area with those who know it well. Thank you Christine and Tony for your conversation and local hints and tips. Back to our house-sit we go for a relaxing Sunday afternoon.
